The Nastiest Daughter-In-Law In The World
What do you do if the woman your son married turns out to be manipulative, deceptive and an outright evil bitch? I have the perfect answer.
My daughter-in-law is an off-the-charts psycho-bitch. Everyone knows it. We don’t say it aloud, though. Eyes dart about a room whenever she enters it. You can feel the tension rise. Silence clears a path ahead of this cold-face cow, who snaps at the smallest things. Her poor husband is at the mercy of her hair-trigger neurosis. Heaven forbid if he ever had a free thought develop in his brow-beaten, emasculated mind. Hell would surely freeze over today if one ever turned into sound and reached the edge of his lips.
I saw one rise to them a long time ago. A steely gaze from the bitch snap-froze them in situ, forcing them back down his gullet. He gagged, gulped and then retreated back into silence. I never witnessed another thought make it to the surface again. Now he waits for her to tell him what to say and when to say it.
This wasn’t the girl who dated him and lured his manly parts into her fire-pit. That version smiled openly and laughed genuinely. It presented itself as a kind, sweet woman. It respected everyone and knew how to speak nice. This hell-bitch arrived soon after the pregnancy passed the first trimester. That’s when the evil creature surfaced and its forked tongue hissed to all and sundry. He should’ve cut her loose right there and then, but he lost his nerve and went with the happy-ever-after dream instead. Foolish boy. Love didn’t conquer all. It only empowered her, and she used it to crush him. She had him lock, stock and bank account.
In the years that followed, one by one, his friends and family were exiled, myself included. She didn’t explain herself, she didn’t need to. She simply reached down, gave her husband’s nut-sack a squeeze, and he yielded to every demand. Once her pattern of behavior had rooted itself inside their marriage, she could do anything anytime for any reason — and she did.
My son married a razor-edged narcissist, a witch — our family’s most evil in-law. Now he’s stuck with her until the day he dies, or until she kills him.
Forget her for a moment, I can’t figure what went wrong. He’s a smart man. He left this family home an intelligent person, with an astute mind and a solid heart. He’s never entertained fools, no matter how attractive they may have been. But he found this one — a seven at best — married it and then knocked it up. It tricked him. A pearly smile had us all fooled well.
My son is now a gaunt and withered version of himself. She’s broken my once happy boy. The saddest part is my three grand children — a generation who’ll never know me or what a loving relationship between a man and a woman can look like. Their dad is treated like he’s a piece of shit on the bottom of their mother’s shoe, and they think that’s normal. Karma needs to see her slip on it and fall down a very long flight of stairs, so it can break her evil neck.
And I think I know the perfect staircase for this to happen. Let me make a quick phone call.

‘Forman’s writing style is artful, with the protagonist Mitchell’s warped thought processes masterfully exposed. The author has a powerful and vivid command of language and his word pictures are stark and disturbingly real.’
